Vitalii Lomakovych, Chairman of the Board of the Growford Institute, and Tetiana Bogdan, Scientific Director of the Institute, published an article “Transforming public finance under the impact of COVID-19” in an international scientific publication. The scientific journal “Public and Municipal Finance” has been published since 2012 and is indexed by recognized scientometric databases SCOPUS, DOAJ, Journal Guide, Academic Resource Index and others.
Such publications allow acquainting a wide international audience with the results of research of the Growford Institute, disseminating the developments of the Institute among foreign scientists and practitioners and representing the Ukrainian research and analytical center at the international level.
The main objectives of the study are to summarize the best international practices of fiscal support of the economy and humanitarian sphere during the corona-crisis, identify key areas of transformation of public finances in the post-crisis period across the globe, identify key inconsistencies and imbalances in Ukraine’s fiscal sector, as well as the development of proposals for fiscal policy of Ukraine in order to adequately respond to new challenges.
